Epoxy Tank-Lining

BELMOLINE

Two-component polyamine-cured epoxy engineered for superior chemical protection in chemical storage vessels, offshore tanks, and underground infrastructure.

A two-component, high-performance, polyamine-cured epoxy for superior chemical protection in atmospheric or submerged service. Engineered for internal tank lining on carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and concrete — offshore, onshore, and underground.

Key Features

  • Chemical & Immersion Resistance

Engineered for superior resistance to grey water, drilling mud, brine, crude oil, and a wide array of chemical products in continuous immersion service.

  • Complete Coating System

Primer-to-finish system on properly prepared carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and concrete — no separate primer required.

  • Offshore, Onshore & Underground

Suitable for internal lining applications across offshore, onshore, and underground infrastructure, ensuring long-term integrity in all installation scenarios.

  • Atmospheric & Submerged Service

Performs reliably in both atmospheric exposure and continuous immersion service, making it one of the most versatile tank lining systems in the NBC range.

  • Multiple Substrate Compatibility

Adhesion-tested on carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and concrete — covering the full range of tank construction materials.

STORAGE

The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Keep the containers in a dry, shaded, cool, well-ventilated space and away from sources of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed. Handle with care. Shelf Life 24 months unopened. Store indoors at 4.5°C (40°F) to 38°C (100°F).

INTENDED USE

High-resistance internal tank coating developed for chemical storage vessels. This is ideally suited for the protection of tanks containing grey water, drilling mud, brine, and crude oil and offers reliable protection against a wide array of chemical products. Engineered for internal lining applications across offshore, onshore, and underground infrastructure, ensuring long-term integrity in surface-level or buried installations.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface must be clean, dry, and in sound condition. Remove all oil, dust, grease, dirt, loose rust, and other foreign material to ensure adequate adhesion.

Minimum recommended surface preparation: Iron & Steel: SSPC-SP6/NACE 3, 2 mil (50 micron) profile Stainless steel & Aluminum: Abrasive blast cleaning to achieve a surface profile using non-metallic abrasive media which is suitable to achieve a sharp and angular surface profile. Galvanizing: Sweep blast-cleaning using nonmetallic abrasive leaving a clean, rough and even pattern. Concrete: Dry abrasive blast cleaning to SSPCSP 13/NACE No. 6. Existing, aged coatings: SSPC-SP1 Solvent cleaning, then scarify / abrade the surface to ensure proper adhesion.

COLOR & GLOSS VARIATION

Slight deviations in color may occur between production batches of primer and antifouling products. When subjected to atmospheric weathering and solar radiation, these products as well as epoxy-based topcoats, may exhibit chalking. Furthermore, the retention of gloss and color in topcoats depends on several factors. These include the paint type, specific pigment selection, application standards, and environmental conditions such as temperature and UV intensity.
